We have been waiting for what feels like a lifetime for the fifth series of Netflix's Queer Eye, and I don't know about you but I am so ready to sob the kind of happy tears that only the fab five can bring on.

Thankfully, there's light on the horizon. It started with a very fun teaser on the Netflix Instagram account, then an emotional tear-inducing trailer and now - finally - the entirety of series 5 drops on Netflix today!

Here's everything you need to know about the series, before you get stuck in.

Do we have a trailer for Queer Eye Season 5?

We very much do! You can watch the trailer (presumably on repeat) above.

We also have a very fun teaser from the Queer Eye Instagram account which shows the fab five setting sail for another adventure of changing peoples' lives.

The post had this caption, "This Gayflower couldn’t hit land soon enough! ⚓️ Who’s ready for the season of brotherly love?!?! Grab your oars, a life vest, and an extremely absorbent box of tissues because Queer Eye Season 5 is arriving in Philly, June 5th! #QE5 ✨💖🌈 P.S. With 10 EPISODES, this is our BIGGEST season yet 🥳🎉".

Where is the series being filmed?

According to the trailer the fab five are heading to 'The City of Brotherly Love' aka, Philadelphia. Thankfully everything for series 5 was filmed before lockdown. Although we can't be sure what's happening with season 6, which was being filmed in Texas in March, just before Coronavirus disrupted TV show and film production.

Do we have a release date for Queer Eye Season 5?

Season 5 of Queer Eye will be released onto Netflix on 5th June (that's today... what are you still doing here?!), and with ten episodes it's the longest of any QE season we've had yet.

I'm shaking with excitement.
