Rock band Hole’s frontwoman Courtney Love married Nirvana’s lead singer Kurt Cobain in 1992. In a short period of time, the latter gained international recognition along with band members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, for hit tracks like ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ y ‘Come As You Are’. However, his body was discovered in his Seattle home on April 8, 1994. Authorities stated that the musician had taken his own life on April 5. He was 27, and Courtney was about to turn 30. Steve Irwin was known internationally to TV audiences as “the crocodile hunter”for his hit nature show. But he passed away at the age of 44 on September 4, 2006, after a fatal animal attack while filming a documentary close to Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia, Steve was pierced in the chest by a stingray barb. Steve and Terri Irwin tied the knot in 1992 and had Bindi, now 23, and Robert, now 18 together. At the time of his passing, Terri was 42 years old. On what would have beeen their 30th anniversary, she said: "I married this incredible bloke 30 years ago today. What an adventure! Love and legacy live on." - 4/11

Elizabeth Taylor was the iconic actress known for starring in films like ‘Celopatra'and ‘Father of the Bride’. Before hitting the big time in 1960s Hollywood, she married theater and movie producer Mike Todd in 1957. The following year, however,Mike passed away during a plane crash. He was 48 years old, while Elizabeth Taylor was only 26. Prior to her marriage to Mike, Elizabeth - who evenutally died from heart failure in 2011 at the age of 79 - was married to Conrad Hilton, Jr and Michael Wilding. Following Mike's death, she went on to marry Eddie Fisher, Richard Burton, John W. Warner and Larry Fortensky. Close friend Anne Douglas later said: "I had never seen Mike as besotted with any woman as he was with Elizabeth." - 5/11

Renowned director Roman Polanski - who is known for successful films such as ‘The Pianist’ and ‘Rosemary’s Baby’ - got married to young starlet Sharon Tate in 1968.However, Sharon she lost her life at the hands of members of the Charles Manson family. The horrible events took place at her California home, while she was almost nine months pregnant. Sharon was stabbed to death at the age of 26 and at the time, Roman was about to turn 36. On what would have been their 45th anniversary, Roman - who later went on to marry Emmanuelle Seigner in 1989 and has children Morgane and Elvis with her - noted that he would never truly get over her death. He said: "Even after so many years, I find myself unable to watch a spectacular sunset or visit a lovely old house or experience visual pleasure of any kind without instinctively telling myself how much she would have loved it all. In 1994 Playboy model Anna Nicole Smith got married to businessman and lawyer J. Howard Marshall. The academic and billionaire passed away on August 4, 1995, less than year later at the age of 90, following a pneumonia diagnosis. At the time of his passing she was 26. Despite claims that she was verbally promised a big chunk of his $1.6 billion fortune, a lengthy court battle eventually ruled that she was entitled to nothing. Anna was already mother to Daniel from a relationship prior to fame and went on to have daughter Dannielynn with Larry Birkhead in 2006. However, Anna Nicole dealt substance abuse issues, as well as with the loss of his son Daniel who passed away in 2006 following a drug overdose. In 1966 the now- President of the United States married his first wife, Neilia Hunter. But she passed away in 1972 along with their one-year-old daughter Naomi, during a car crash. Their sons Beau and Hunter were also in the car, but survived. Both Neilia and Joe were 30 years old at the time. Cassandra eventually passed away on December 28, 1991, at the age of 43. Pierce Brosnan was 38 years old at the time. He later married Keely Shaye Smith in 2001 and has sons Paris , 21, and Dylan, 24, with her. Furhter tragedy struck when daughter Charlotte died from the same disease tht had killed her mother in 2013 at the age of 41. Refelcting upon his loss, he later said: "There is an incredible cruelty in it all. Losing a person you shared everything with. The rap star - whose real name was Christopher Wallace - was fatally shot when an unknown perpetrator fired four shots to him in a drive-by shooting. Three years before, in 1994, he got married to R&B superstar and Grammy award winner Faith Evans. Although they had separated in 1996, they were still close, and had welcomed son C.J. born in the same year. At the time of the rapper’s passing, Faith was also 24. Years later, Faith said: "Although we were separated, we had a 5-month-old baby. And it was obviously so unexpected. We didn't know or expect that to happen. We definitely felt like, 'OK, come back home,' just because of all the little weird things that were being whispered and things that happened prior to his death."
