Julia on her 'instant connection' with rumoured bf Kanye
It's been almost a year since Kim Kardashian she filed for divorce from husband of six years, Kanye West.
And, while it's clear the SKIMS founder has moved on, it didn't quite look like Kanye was doing the same (given his very public requests to reconcile.) But, it seems the Donda rapper has finally closed that chapter in his book, starting a new one with Uncut Gems star, Julia Fox.
Speaking about their new romance for the very first time, Julia opened up about how she and Kanye – who also goes by the name Ye – met. "I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection," she told Interview magazine (where you can also see their first pics together as a couple). "His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing and smiling all night."
Not one to do things by halves, just a few short hours after meeting, Kanye flew across the country with Julia to see a show. "We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City" she revealed, adding that afterwards they went to dinner at her "favourite restaurant".
"I was impressed" the Netflix star added. "At the restaurant, Ye directed an entire photo shoot for me while people dined! The whole restaurant loved it and cheered us on while it was happening. After dinner Ye had a surprise for me. I mean, I’m still in shock. Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment."
Julia continued: "I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date! Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride."
A hotel suite full of clothes? Sounds pretttttty serious if you ask us...
