Julia Fox's bubble boob top takes the bubble hem trend to the next level

It's no exaggeration to say there is an abundance of sartorial styles existing within the mainstream consciousness right now. Perhaps more so than ever before (thanks, TikTok). But, with so many fashion trends and microtrends around, it's inevitable that some will exist as merely a flash in the fashion pan – remember Mob Wife?

You'd be forgiven for thinking bubble hems had been relegated to the same fate. Championed by the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and Selena Gomez in early 2024, we quickly followed suit, adding a Y2K-coded puffball mini to our summer wardrobes. And then winter came... We hate to say it, but black tights just *do not* work with a white balloon design.

But, before we could dismiss the statement silhouette entirely, none other than Julia Fox has stepped in to champion the bubble skirt, officially green-lighting its return. In typical Julia style though, she's gone one step further and debuted what we're referring to as the bubble boob top.

For a night out in LA, Julia donned a white co-ord ensemble consisting of a teeny tiny low-rise mini skirt with an asymmetric bubble hem. The micro mini was paired with a white cropped t-shirt that featured two frilly-seamed pouches sewn at each of her breasts. The fabric extended down past her waistline and mirrored the soft curves of the skirt's signifying hemline.

Knee-high boots and a lime green handbag completed the ensemble. Her only other accessory was a bandana worn over her grey hair. The overall effect left Julia looking like she had really really saggy boobs. But, when worn together as part of the coordinating set, dare we say we low-key love this double bubble look?
