Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult look suave at The Order premiere during the Venice International Film Festival
Actors Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult looked suave as they attended the Venice International Film Festival for the premiere of their new film The Order earlier this weekend. The pair walked the red carpet at the acclaimed film festival on Saturday, 31 August to mark the thriller’s world premiere.
For the occasion, Jude, 51, kept things smart as he opted for a black suit which he paired with a matching cravat. 34-year-old Nicholas looked equally as dapper as he wore a black tuxedo which he paired with a satin waistcoat as well as a contrasting white pocket square.
As well as Jude and Nicholas, The Order stars the likes of Tye Sheridan and Jurnee Smollett who were also seen on the red carpet. Following its debut on day four of the Venice International Film Festival, the film received a standing ovation from the audience.

In a press conference ahead of the film’s debut, Nicholas revealed that he and Jude didn’t speak or interact for the first four weeks of filming in order to create distance between themselves, Deadline reports.
While at the press conference, The Holiday star Jude also touched on the importance of the film in the present day. “Sadly, the relevance speaks for itself,” he said. “It felt like a piece of work that needed to be made now. It’s always interesting finding a piece from the past that has some relevant relationship to the present day.”
Elsewhere, the Venice International Film Festival has seen a whole host of familiar faces from the world of film walk the red carpet. On Wednesday, 28 April, the cast of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice including Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder received a four-minute standing ovation as the film opened the festival.
And on Sunday, 1 September, Brad Pitt and George Clooney could be seen arriving by boat for the premiere of their film Wolfs. As they accompanied one another in a water taxi, George could be seen sporting a classic grey suit and white shirt while Brad wore a light blue suit and white T-shirt, with both stars finishing off the look with some sunglasses.
