Jon Stewart awarded Mark Twain prize for american humor

Stewart became the 23rd recipient of the prestigious comedy award on April 24. Due to the pandemic, the former 'Daily Show' host is the first person to receive the Mark Twain Prize since Dave Chappelle was honored in 2019. Many of Stewart's peers and fellow comedians praised his work over the years. "Before Jon, we had no idea you could make a TV show where you play clips of another TV show and then said, 'Boy, that other TV show sucks.'" Jimmy Kimmel, via 'The New York Times'.
