Jon Bon Jovi breaks silence on son's secret wedding to Millie Bobby Brown - and confirms couple's 'fantastic' news

Jon Bon Jovi has broken his silence over his son Jake Bongiovi’s wedding to Millie Bobby Brown after reports emerged that the pair had tied the knot earlier this month.

Following a 14-month long engagement, the happy couple reportedly said ‘I do’ in a small ceremony in America though the pair are alleged to be planning a larger celebration for later on in the year. “They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork. It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,” a source told The Sun.

And now, Livin’ On A Prayer singer Jon has broken his silence following the exciting news as he gushed over his son and the Stranger Thing actress during an appearance on The One Show on Tuesday, 28 May. As he sat on the famous green sofa, presenter Lauren Laverne asked the 62 year old: “What can you tell us? How are the happy couple?” to which he confirmed the news.

“They're great, they are absolutely fantastic,” he said. “It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be, and yeah it’s true.”

Since tying the knot, the happy couple have expanded their family and the Godzilla star recently revealed that they’d adopted a tiny puppy called Ruth. Millie posted a snap of the adorable puppy on her Instagram Stories and included a link to an adoption centre - hinting that’s the route she’d gone down.

Over the top of the snap, Millie wrote: “Meet our newest pup... Ruth” in addition to some hearts. The Netflix star is known to be a huge animal lover and told Greg James on the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast show in September 2023 that her family had eight dogs, four cats, one donkey, one pony, three goats, one sheep and one rabbit.
