Joker: Folie à Deux, the sequel to 2019's Joker, has another interesting potential plot point go public thanks to its substantial outdoor filming.

The latest bit of information about the film comes from this scene where a crowd protests on the steps of what looks like a court, with many of them wearing clown masks or make-up.

Looking at the signs they are holding up, we can see people calling for the release of Joker/Arthur Fleck and proclaiming that he isn't guilty, with others wanting him to be mayor or even president.

Pretty standard stuff, but then there's one that reads 'Harvey Dent is the clown'.

In Batman stories, Harvey Dent usually starts off as the district attorney, which would tie him into Joker's apparent imprisonment. The sign about Joker being mayor perhaps implies that Harvey is either the mayor or is in the running for the job in this continuity.

Of course, that's not what Harvey is best known for, as he almost always meets with a tragic accident that turns him into the coin-obsessed villain Two-Face.

That's not to say that, even if Harvey appears in the film, his transformation will definitely happen.

Tim Burton's first Batman film had Billy Dee Williams play the character, before sitting out of Batman Returns completely.

The role was then retooled and Tommy Lee Jones played a very different version of Harvey in Joel Schumacher's Batman Forever.

We also know that Harley Quinn is appearing in Joker: Folie à Deux, with images of Lady Gaga in costume dropping just last week.

Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled for a cinema release date of October 4, 2024. Joker is available to buy on Blu-ray or streaming now.
