Remember back in October when it was announced that John Lewis would be setting up Quality pick ‘n’ mix stations for Christmas? It was amazing news, because it meant you could fill a tin exclusively with Purple Ones, or go half and half with Green Triangles and Toffee Pennies. The world was your oyster, quite frankly.
Well, just because Christmas is over, doesn’t mean the Quality Street-based good news is over, because according to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook page, John Lewis is trying to get rid of stock, so it’s selling massive bags of specific Quality Street chocolates for just £5!
Be sure to check online which John Lewis stores had the 'Choose Your Favourites' pop-ups before you head out with a crisp £5 note, mind you. There were 17 stores around the UK, which included Bluewater, Cambridge, Cardiff, Cribbs Causeway, Edinburgh, Glasgow, High Wycombe, Kingston, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Nottingham, Oxford, Oxford Street, PeterJones, Southampton and Trafford.
At the time, shoppers could pick up their favourite chocolates along with a personalised 1.2kg tin it's £15, or a plain tin was just £12. And if shoppers were feeling environmentally conscious, they could even bring their tin from last year to reuse and refill for only £10.
So, what are you waiting for? Get yourself down to John lewis and pick up a bargain!
