Judging by this game of 'Stan Or Ban', Joe Sugg off of the internet, Strictly Come Dancing and BBC's The Syndicate has a lot of strong opinions. From TV shows to snacks to date night plans, what's he loving and what's he loathing right now?

Music

"The last three people that I listened to were Jack Johnson for chilled out vibes. Harry Styles, I'm a huge fan of his music. And I would go with Rage Against The Machine - they are very different to the previous two, but they're my motivational music. And my good friend Byron Langley - his music is always played in my house."

As for the music Joe's banning? "Irritating TikTok songs - they're not bad, but they get stuck in my head."

Snacks

"I'm a huge fan of my girlfriend's baps - the sandwich kind. She gets a toasted roll with some ham in there, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup or chilli sauce, a sprinkle of cheese or halloumi if we have it in the fridge. And then a couple of bits of jalapeno and beetroot."

"I'd ban custard creams. Not that I don't like them - I love them a bit too much. If no one stops me, I get through a whole pack. I can plough through custard creams, so I would ban them for my own good."

TV shows

"I'm stanning Dark on Netflix," Joe said. "I feel like I love anything time-travelly and thought that was so good. I was gripped. I had to do a lot of research into family trees - it's very confusing. But if you stick with it, it's incredible. I've also [been watching] old The Syndicate, which I'm going to be a part of very soon."

As for what he's banning? "Yummy Mummies. My girlfriend watches it a lot - she always has it on the TV before bed and I can't get into it. I can't relate. It's not my cup of tea."

Date night plans

"I'm stanning outdoor cinema nights. Since we've been stuck in this lockdown scenario, I've realised if you've got a white bedsheet and a projector, it makes for some great entertainment. I would ban an actual cinema [for a first date]. You wanna chat to your date - you're not going to get the conversation going."

YouTubers

"I have my own YouTube/social media management company that I'm a co-founder of and we have an amazing roster of people that are so talented in all areas of social media, so I'm stanning all of those guys. And also a YouTuber called Max Fosh as well. I really like his videos - I think they're really clever."

As for the YouTuber he's banning? "It would be myself. I can't throw another YouTuber under the bus like that - it's not in my nature. I would take one for the team, considering I haven't uploaded on my main channel for four or five months. This is a way to say to myself, 'Joe, crack on with some videos.'"

The Syndicate airs on BBC later this year.
