On Wednesday night actress Jodie Comer attended the press night for her new one-woman play Prima Facie.

Thankfully for Jodie, her west end debut was applauded by critics and while we're giving out praise, we wanted to take a minute to appreciate her hairstyle.

I'm sure for most of us, the only time we ever wear our hair up is for a wedding, but Jodie's textured updo was so effortlessly cool it's a real motivator for letting your neck breathe once in a while.

Or, if you're currently planning your wedding and are finding all the bridal styles a bit "fussy", this 'undone, done' look should be going straight to the top of your Pinterest board.

The man behind Jodie's cool girl updo was of course hairstylist Patrick Wilson, who has created some of our favourite looks on the actress.

For those of you who were in the Brownies or Beavers, your rope tying skills might finally come in handy as Patrick created a textured undone low knot which looks effortless until we attempt to recreate it.

Sharing a picture of the money shot, Patrick wrote "All about that texture" and credited Sam McKnight products for helping him achieve the look.

Of course it isn't just about the back of Jodie's head. Makeup artist Alex Babsky continued the effortless feel by giving her the healthiest glowing skin, complete with a muted berry tone lip.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to find my kirby grips.
