Jodie Comer wore this exact £6 drug store mascara to the BAFTAs

I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of celeb mascara recommendations. It's one of the only categories of product that people are able to get *totally* real about, plus, if a celebrity (or celeb MUA) swears by it, that means it's been road-tested under the shiny lights of fame, on red carpets and through day-long press junket sessions.

And time and time again, the pattern stays the same - no matter how indulgent the beat, celebs and their MUAs just cannot pass up on a drug-store classic. Take Leigh-Anne Pinnock's £9.99 BRITs choice. Or Camilla Cabello's sub-£12 go-to. Sofia Richie's ride-or-die is literally under £9, and can we all cast out minds back to that time Beyoncé's MUA admitted to using a £7 drug store number on the Queen Bey herself?

And that's before we even get onto the Maybelline ride-or-die that beauty editors and royals alike go weak at the lash-follicles for.

So it makes sense that following last night's TV BAFTAs, we've got a shed-load more looks coming in that count drug store mascara as one of the products used. Notably, Jodie Comer of Killing Eve fame turned up with sky-high lashes created using a super affordable product.

Her MUA Babsky makeup shared a breakdown of the whole look, captioned "💕JODIE!💕 Peachy-tawniness on @jodiemcomer for today’s #VirginMediaBAFTA".

Babsky shouted out the shoot's stylist,@elizabethsaltzman and hair stylist @sammcknight1, before providing a full breakdown of the look, which looked a little something like the below. It's an absolute mixed bag, RRP-wise, with her choice of serum-highlighter hybrid coming in at £235, while her mascara costs literally six quid. Would you expect anything less from the legend that is JC though?
