Jodie Comer wanted to be true to herself with the chic trouser suit she wore to the TV BAFTAs.
The 28-year-old was up for Leading Actress at the ceremony for her role as Villanelle in Killing Eve, and rocked the red carpet in a tailored navy silk camisole and flared trousers by Gabriela Hearst, complemented with jewels by Tiffany & Co.
Jodie told British Vogue that the last year has made her rethink her fashion choices, and after working with stylist Elizabeth Saltzman, she wanted to embrace her own style.
“If you had asked me, ‘What am I wearing?’ last year, you would have got a very frivolous answer. But, the past year was an interesting one. I want to be true to myself,” she explained.
And she's full of praise for her close friend Elizabeth, who she turned to help her fulfil her brief of "simple elegance".
“She’s just really f**king cool. She is who she is and I love being around people like that," Jodie said of her stylist.
The actress credits her team for helping her nail a show-stopping look for every event, and heaped praise on hairstylist Sam McKnight, who she declared was "such a genius".
“For me, it’s all about energy. I want to show up and celebrate, but I want to feel like me." Jodie said of her glam squad.
