Gavin & Stacey fans can get a personalised message from star Joanna Page - who is charging fans £87.15 on a celebrity video site.

The 43-year-old has signed up to popular website Cameo which advertises a host of well-known faces who offer fans the chance to buy personalised videos.

Page, who plays Stacey in the hit BBC sitcom, urges fans on the website to “hurry up and send me some messages”.

Leaning on her character’s well-known use of the word “lush”, Page promises buyers “really brilliant messages”.

In a clip to entice potential customers, Page says in her famous Welsh accent: “Hiya, everybody. Well, I am very excited to be joining Cameo. I am going to be sending you lots of lush messages.

"Just send me all your details, people's names, the celebration and I'll look forward to sending you back really brilliant messages straight away.

"I can't wait, I'm so excited to be joining in and I can't wait to be in touch with all of you.

Her account has only been active a few days, but she has already received several orders and a host of five star reviews.

With the world of entertainment being hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic, Cameo has proved popular amongst celebrities keen to keep finances topped up while careers are on hold.

However, the prices for a celebrity shoutout vary massively.

A message off Caitlyn Jenner will set you back over £2,000, while one from music icon Boy George will cost £249.

Meanwhile Blue singer Anthony Costa will charge £25, while Love Island 2020 contestant Ollie Williams charges just £12.45.
