Jimmy Fallon is doing it all for his daughters.

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon host, 49, spoke with PARENTS for their Take Five with Grace column, opening up about how his mentality about his career has shifted since he's welcomed daughters Winnie, 11, and Frances, 9, with wife Nancy Juvonen.

"I used to work hard on my career for myself. Now it's about my kids," Fallon shares. "I want to show them that they can be as creative as I am and enjoy the process. Don't do it for money. Don't do it for praise. Do it because you like it and you'll be happy for the rest of your life."

At the end of August, Fallon spoke with PEOPLE ahead of the publication of his new children’s book, 5 More Sleeps ‘Til Halloween, and said that with autumn fast approaching, he’s going to miss his daughters once they head back to school.

“I don't want [them] to go to school,” Fallon joked. “I don't want them to meet other people. I don't want them to do anything. I just want them to hang out with us for the rest of their life.”

Fallon said that despite his feelings, Winnie and Frances are more than excited for the new school year.

“They love their school, they love their friends,” he said. “And it's another little chapter in their lives and another fun adventure.”

That same month, Fallon shared a sweet family photo on his Instagram as he spent time by a lake with his wife Nancy and their two daughters.

In the picture, Fallon could be seen leaning into Nancy, who wore a bright orange dress and nude heels. The couple's daughters stood in front of them, hugging each other while one had a hand on their family dog, Gary.

"Arrivederci, summer 2024. #photodump," Fallon wrote in his caption.
