CNN reports Jim Seals of the 1970s soft-rock group, Seals and Crofts, has died. He was 80. Seals, alongside his musical partner, Darrel "Dash" Crofts, was responsible for hits like "Summer Breeze," "Get Closer" and "Diamond Girl." "I just learned that James 'Jimmy' Seals has passed.
