Jessica Simpson can't believe daughter has already outgrown her Jimmy Choo shoes

Jessica Simpson is a little sad her eldest daughter will never be able to fit into her Jimmy Choo stilettos.

While promoting the upcoming collection for her eponymous fashion and accessories label in an interview with People, the singer/entrepreneur explained that she is constantly inspired by Maxwell's sense of style.

And while the nine-year-old loves to play dress up in the clothes on the set of photoshoots, Jessica revealed that her little girl's feet have already outgrown hers.

"Maxwell has already grown out of my shoe size, so sadly, she never got to wear the Jimmy Choos. I didn't expect that or I would have turned my storage into her closet!" she exclaimed to the outlet, noting that she has a whole closet of clothes waiting in storage for Maxwell and youngest daughter Birdie, two. "There are some amazing vintage pieces I am keeping for Maxwell and Birdie. I also have some special pieces of jewellery that will be theirs when the time is right."

As for her own sense of style, Jessica noted that fans may be surprised to learn she has ditched platform heels and boots while at home.

"I cannot believe it myself but...I do wear flats now," the 41-year-old continued. "I love statement slides. I am chasing three kids around for most of the day every day so I have embraced comfort (and safety, ha!)"

Jessica and her husband Eric Johnson are also parents to eight-year-old son Ace.
