Jeremy Renner was "completely crushed" in his horrifying snow plough accident, it has been reported.
The Hawkeye star suffered blunt force chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries, and underwent surgery after he was accidentally run over by the machine, which he had been using to clear snow at his Lake Tahoe home.
TMZ has reported that it has obtained the 911 emergency call log, which says the star was experiencing heavy bleeding from his head.
It also said the Hurt Locker actor was "completely crushed" by the plough and that afterwards he was having "extreme difficulty" breathing.
It said the right side of Renner's chest collapsed and that his upper torso was crushed.
The star, 51, has been online since the accident, thanking his fans for all of their support.
He shared a picture form his hospital bed on Instagram as he told his followers: "Thank you all for your kind words.
"I'm too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
And later in the week he tweeted a clip of his mum and sister washing his hair.
"A 'not no great' ICU DAY, turned to amazing spa day with my sis and mama," Renner tweeted, adding: "Thank you sooooo much."
The accident took place on New Year's Day near the star's ranch in Nevada and he was airlifted to hospital.
