Jeremy Clarkson has said he thinks about death every day and would be “furious” to die at 61.
The Top Gear and Grand Tour star turned 61 this year – which is the age his dad was when he died - but said he is “nowhere near finished”.
He told The Guardian: “When my dad died at 61, I thought, ‘That’s a pretty good innings.’ Now I’m 61, if I died, I’d be furious.

“I’m nowhere near finished. So, yes, I think about dying every day.”
The TV star said when he used to think about his own passing he thought he would “put out my last cigarette age 107 and just die”.
However, Clarkson quit smoking four years ago, after suffering a bout of pneumonia and being admitted to hospital during a family holiday in Majorca.
The following year he posted a message on Twitter telling his followers that he was doing fine without cigarettes in his life.
“One year ago today, I had my last cigarette,” he wrote.
“Smoked half a million of them over the years but don’t miss it really.
"Weird.”

However, the presenter did say he gained weight after kicking the habit.
Speaking at a screening of The Grand Tour, he said: “Anyone else get fat, like unbelievably fat, as a result of it? It’s just terrifying.

“[It’s] horrendous. You could float me over a city to stop a bombing raid.”
