Do you remember how we all lost our tiny little minds when Jennifer Lopez debuted her shag hairstyle?

Well, brace yourselves because she's done it again, but this time she's taken the shag to a whole new level.

In case you weren't aware, the shag is back. No, not that kind of shag (we're living though a pandemic don' forget), but the layered, '70s inspired mullet kind.

For the last few years we've all lusted after that same length, blunt lob haircut, but as makeup has taken a back seat in 2020, we've all been itching to switch our hairstyles up, instead of our eyeshadow.

Which marks the return of layers. Remember them?

You know the kind that we're reminded of every single time we watch a Friends re-run. Face-framing layers, that in my opinion, are the equivalent of a contour palette.

Never one to shy away from a new hairstyle, Jlo has dived into the shag trend head first, full disregarding the swimming pool rules cannon bomb.

Her first shag (yes, we are still talking about hair) was curlier, a bit shyer, less 'fringey'. But her second one, of course created by her longterm stylist Chris Appleton, holds nothing back.

She's switched the curls for that cool girl bedhead texture we can never quite recreate at home and gone for a swept out 'gringe' (that's code for overgrown fringe, FYI) that immediately draws your attention to her beautiful brown eyes and is reminiscent of the icon that is Bridget Bardot.

Looks like we're be waiting on hold, trying to book a hair appointment on 3rd December then.
