On Saturday afternoon, Jennifer Lopez did a little at-home modeling of her intimate wear, looking soft and gorgeous in her Intimissimi lingerie. J.Lo was wearing a white lace one piece underneath a white silk robe slipping of her shoulder. She had her hair down in soft waves, and was sitting on her bed covered in white linens.
Lopez captioned her photos, '#ThisIsMe … #SelfCare #HappyWeekend #TakingAMoment.'
The Intimissimi line has been well-connected to celebrities, and recently did a campaign with super model Heidi Klum and her daughter, Leni.
Lopez often talks about her relationship to her body and making sure she feels sexy despite constantly being under the scrutiny of the public eye.
In an interview from 2018, Lopez said when she was beginning she heard from a lot of people that she should 'lose a few pounds.'
She continued, '(My curves) didn’t bother me at all. It finally got to the point that I was like, "This is who I am. I’m shaped like this." Everybody I grew up with looked like that, and they were all beautiful to me.'
'My mom and my grandmother were the ones who drilled into me, "This is how we are, and this is what’s beautiful,"' Lopez said. 'Being curvy or not being 6-feet tall was never a bad thing; it was actually something that was celebrated. And so, later on, when I brought that in front of the world, I wasn’t really trying to send a message. I was just being myself.'
She added, 'So many people have come up to me over the years — famous people, people I meet on the street, fans, everybody and they say that very thing: "Thank you so much. I have the same type of body. I used to think I was fat, but now I feel beautiful." '
