After a tumultuous year, Jennifer Lopez wants her fans to know that she's actually 'never been better' and is having 'the best time' of her life right now.

Despite recently breaking off her engagement to boyfriend of five years, Alex Rodriguez, the 51-year-old actor and singer has a lot to be thankful for, including a new film out later this year, a new single and of course... a new love interest.

J.Lo and former fiancé Ben Affleck have reportedly started dating again — a mere 17 years after breaking off their two-year engagement — after being spotted together at various locations around the U.S., from Montana to Miami and California, as reported by People.

Speaking on Apple Music's The Zane Lowe Show podcast, the mum-of-two — who shares 13-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony — revealed that she's currently experiencing a 'super happy' time in her life, post-break-up, and new romance or not, she's perfectly fine on her own.

'I know people are always wondering "How are you? What's going on? Are you ok?" 'I've never been better and I want the people who care about me to know that I’ve really gotten to a place in my life where I’m great on my own,' she told the podcast, noting that, I think once you get to that place, then amazing things happen to you that you never imagine in your life happening again.

'So that is where I’m at,' she confirmed. 'I love all the love that’s coming my way right now and all of the good wishes. And I just want everybody to know that it’s the best time. It’s the best time of my life.'

The On the Floor singer really is having the time of her life it seems, admitting that she's always inspired to do her best work when she's happy.

Her new film, Shotgun Wedding, is out next year, starring Josh Duhamel and Armie Hammer; she's currently in the process of promoting her new Spanish-language single Cambia El Paso — and according to E! News, she’s reportedly moving back to L.A. for a 'fresh start' and to be closer to Affleck, after basing herself in Miami during her five year relationship with former baseball player Rodriguez.
