Fans have spotted that Jennifer Lopez recently liked a shady Instagram post amid her split from Alex Rodriguez, which the pair confirmed last week (April 15). Many believe that the post she liked refers to their recent breakup, possibly giving more insight into the split.

After weeks of denying rumours of a split Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez last week confirmed that their relationship had come to an end after four years, calling off their two year engagement.

The pair released a joint statement to NBC TODAY explaining that they had come to realise they were "better as friends" and were hoping to maintain their friendship.

The statement read: "We have realised we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."

Since then, things got just a little bit strange, with A Rod posting an emotional video to his Instagram Stories showing framed pictures of the pair of them together, soundtracked to Coldplay's Fix You. He also tagged J Lo in the Story leaving us all somewhat perplexed.

Fast foward to today and things have developed. Fans have spotted that J Lo liked a post on Instagram seemingly referring to the split, and it's looks pretty dramatic. The post, shared by author Reuben Holmes, aka r.h. Sin, talks about being manipulated and treated badly by someone you love.

Reports of a split first emerged back in March, but the couple denied the speculation and later released a statement clarifying that they were "working through some things" but had not actually split. The following day Jennifer posted a TikTok in which she references the rumours and calls them "dumb."

But a month on the pair confirmed their split, and with the breakup still pretty fresh, fans are convinced her liking this post has something to do with the end of their four year relationship.
