Jennifer Lopez just debuted the perfect choppy fringe
Jennifer Lopez is fast becoming our go-to when it comes to hair inspiration. First, she revealed her own naturally curly hair which, in the midst of the first lockdown, gave us the push we needed to embrace our own natural texture. Then, in stark contrast, we became obsessed with this incredibly glamorous blow-dry, created by her long-time hairstylist Chris Appleton.
Now, Lopez is tempting us to finally embrace the fringe. Posting on Instagram yesterday, Appleton revealed the star's dramatic new look, combining tousled, waist-length layers with a perfect choppy fringe, which was gently flicked out for maximum retro nostalgia.

While details are sparse about what Appleton used to created the look, we were treated to another glimpse of the practically perfect style when Lopez stepped out later that evening with fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. Spotted in West Hollywood, Lopez enhanced the '70s feel with wide-legged satin trousers and a tonal Valentino bag.
Whether you're tempted to go for the chop yourself or not, it seems the fringe – in all its guises – is set to become 2020's most-wanted style.
