Jennifer Lopez: 'I'm in the best shape of my life'
Jennifer Lopez is in the best shape of her life.
The 51-year-old fronted the latest issue of InStyle magazine, and in the accompanying interview, she discussed her approach to ageing, and said she feels her best ever after turning 50 last year.
"I don't have any (beauty) secrets except JLo Beauty – and I'm giving them all to everyone with every product. I also think I'm in the best shape of my life. In my 20s and 30s I used to work out but not like I do now. It's not that I work out more; I just work out harder and smarter," she explained.
"And it doesn't take me as long as it did in the past. I do it more for my health than I do for looks, which is funny. When you do things for the right reasons, you actually look better!" the mother-of-two shared.
The interview also featured contributions from her famous friends and family, including designer Donatella Versace, who said the Hustlers star was "limitless".
"That word: 'Limitless.' It describes her perfectly. Her discipline, her courage, her resilience, her hard work, her intelligence... rarely have I met someone who had a dream and worked so hard to achieve it. I love her with all my heart," the artistic director of Versace sweetly shared.
Tom Ford was also full of praise for Lopez, who wore a mirrored gown created by the designer to the 2019 Oscars, and called the singer/actress "spectacular".
"It goes without saying that Jennifer is one of the most beautiful and talented women in the world. But the greatest thing about her is that she is a kind and empathetic person. She is spectacular in every way, and I have tremendous admiration for her," he stated.
