Why is Jennifer Lawrence wearing a wedding dress?

It’s already pretty obvious that Jennifer Lawrence is pretty untraditional but her latest style move proves she also isn’t superstitious. On Thursday night, the actress attended a screening of Faces Places in Hollywood wearing a wedding gown — seriously, it’s actually meant for a bride.

Designed by L. Wells Bridal., the floor-length white wedding dress featured delicate loose lace short sleeves, white polka dots on the skirt, a cinched waist and a deep V-neck.

It’s perfect for a young innocent bride trying to look a tad bit sexy on her wedding day, or a stunning bold actress attending a premiere, because Lawrence looked angelic. She added a little edge to the dainty dress with a dark raspberry lip, tousled hair, and layered antique-like necklaces.

Lawrence has shunned wedding traditions (or maybe she’s hinting at her desire to be a bride…?) before. She wore a white Dior gown to a premiere of Passengers this past December. It wasn’t technically a bridal gown, but anyone set to walk down the aisle would surely be happy to wear the stunning design.

She established her signature edgy bridal style that night with a bleeding heart pin, choker, and crimson lip.
