Jennifer Garner has spoken about the one scene that almost made 13 Going on 30 costar Mark Ruffalo quit the movie during filming. And, honestly, I don't blame him one bit.

The iconic film starred Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo as childhood best friends Jenna and Matty, who reunite years after their friendship fell apart as teenagers when Jenna wakes up one day as her 30-year-old self the day after her 13th birthday party.

One of the film's most famous scenes is when Jenna and Matty recreate Michael Jackson's Thriller dance at a stuffy event for the magazine where Jenna works. While this scene is a firm favourite with fans, according to Garner it's apparently the moment that almost caused Ruffalo to quit.

"We started to learn the dance," Jennifer said during on theSkimm's Texting With series. "Our first rehearsal I think it was like Mark, Judy [Greer], and me, and Judy and I were both dancers growing up, and poor Mark didn’t know that."

Garner says that she remember Mark coming in to rehearse the dance scene "...and he hated the rehearsal process so much he almost dropped out of the movie."

Recently Garner and Ruffalo reunited to film a new sci-fi movie called The Adam Project which is being shot in Canada and stars Ryan Reynolds and Zoe Saldana. The pair took the time to post a little 13 Going on 30 reunion pic on Instagram which fans absolutely loved.
