Jennifer Coolidge collaborates with e.l.f Cosmetics
Jennifer Coolidge has collaborated with e.l.f Cosmetics for the new Dirty Pillows Lip Kit.
The White Lotus star has collaborated with the beauty brand on the launch of a limited-edition four-piece lip collection, the Dirty Pillows Lip Kit.
The campaign for the kit was inspired by the award-winning actress's e.l.f. Cosmetics Super Bowl commercial which went viral earlier this year. During an outtake from the advert, Jennifer was asked what she would name her own lipstick if given the chance, to which she comedically replied "swollen" and "dirty pillows".
"I didn't know what was going to happen. I said, 'Yeah, I would love to come up with a lipstick,' but I didn't know that e.l.f. would give me full rein," Jennifer told People in an interview. "I didn't know that they would let me really pick what works on my face and what I like to wear every day. I liked that they weren't heavy-handed with their own vision."
The Legally Blonde actress told the outlet that she has learned which shades suit her best after years of playing around with makeup.
"When I put a certain combination of things on, people ask me what I have on my lips," she shared of her signature nude-pink gloss combination. "I don't think I've ever worn a dark red or a brown, but somehow this combo I do makes your lips look bigger."
She added, "I guess if you don't want bigger lips, maybe this isn't the one for you. But I like to make my lips look bigger. I really milk it for everything it's worth."
The lip kit includes a range of hilariously named products, including a lipstick in the shade Dirty Pillows, a lip-plumping gloss in the shade Swollen, a lip liner in the shade Fill Frontal and a Lips Are the Mirror to Your Soul compact mirror.
"My little kit that anyone can get, makes your lips look swollen, makes them look bigger," Jennifer quipped, adding, "At least they make mine look bigger, and I don't try that hard, but it just naturally makes your lips look bigger. That's the look I like. I don't look good with thin lips."
