Could we be seeing the likes of Jennifer Aniston on next season's Love Island? It turns out, that idea isn't all too fantastical, as she just admitted she's "ready" to date again and even listed exactly what her dream partner looks like. So, what is her type on paper?

Speaking to Bruce Bozzi on his radio show, Lunch with Bruce, the Friend's star opened up about why she's ready to get back on the dating scene.

"I think it's time," the 52-year-old said, "I think I'm ready to share myself with another [person]. I didn't want to for a long time, and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple. I've been a part of a couple since I was 20. So there was something really nice about taking the time."

Jen An was previously married to fellow Hollywood star Brad Pitt for five years, and later spent three years with Justin Theroux. She's also been romantically linked to Vince Vaughn and John Mayer. And, more recently after this year's Friends Reunion Special, rumours were swirling that she and co-star David Schwimmer could be an item too.

On the topic of what she finds attractive, the actor said: "The ease at which the conversation flows the first time, that's kind of a good indicator."

She continued, "Confidence, but not a cockiness. Humour. Please, I beg of you — beg of you. Generous, kind to people. You know, it's just very few necessities."

But, you wont be seeing Jen on Hinge or Tinder anytime soon. Earlier this year she told People that she "absolutely" wont be using any dating apps. "I'm going to just stick to the normal ways of dating," she said, "Having someone ask you out. That's the way I would prefer it."

Despite knowing what she wants in a partner, Jen An says she's not in any rush to tie the knot again. "It's not on my radar. I'm interested in finding a fantastic partner and just living an enjoyable life and having fun with one another. That's all we should hope for," she added, "It doesn't have to be etched in stone in legal documents."
