Jennifer Aniston has opened up about her private life in a rare, candid interview where she affirmed that she is ready to start dating again.

The Morning Show star was appearing on Bruce Bozzi's radio show, Lunch with Bruce, when she spoke about how she's finally ready to to 'share herself with another person again'. The actress has had many high-profile relationships throughout her career, most recently with actor Justin Theroux, with whom she parted ways in 2017.

'I think it's time,' Aniston said. 'I think I'm ready to share myself with another [person]. I didn't want to for a long time, and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple. I've been a part of a couple since I was 20. So there was something really nice about taking the time.'

Discussing what she finds attractive in a partner, the star continued: 'The ease at which the conversation flows the first time, that's kind of a good indicator. Confidence, but not a cockiness. Humour. Please, I beg of you – beg of you. Generous, kind to people. You know, it's just very few necessities.'

Following the highly-anticipated Friends reunion, Aniston and co-star David Schwimmer admitted to having crushes on each other during the early days of filming the sitcom, prompting recent rumours that they were dating. Aniston called the speculation 'bizarre' before adding that Schwimmer was like a 'brother' to her.

Aniston recently admitted that she won't be using dating apps, preferring to stick to the old-fashioned way of being asked out in person.

'I'm going to just stick to the normal ways of dating,' she reportedly told People. 'Having someone ask you out. That's the way I would prefer it.'
