These jeans zip round from the crack to the crotch

What is it with all these weird denim trends that keep popping up?

First we had Topshop's clear knee window jeans (weird), then we had these fun, detachable jean short things (weirder) and then the half jeans trend (don't get us started).

And now, one brand has decided to take Vetements' butt crack zip jeans a step further by making the zip go all the way around from the crack to the crotch.

But why, Reformation? What was your thinking behind this? Were people emailing you saying 'OMG you know those butt crack jeans that stopped at the bottom of the butt? We REALLY wish you'd make a pair that zipped all the way round!'. Because we're pretty sure that they weren't.

Maybe their plan was to create jeans that had a weird zipper in order to attract Kendall and Kylie Jenner (they love clothes that don't really make sense)? Or maybe they wanted to create a weird zipper jean that also doubled up as a half jean? You know, so you could undo them all the way and then just have one leg out?

Whatever their reason, we're not exactly going to be lining up to spend the $148 (£115) on a pair anytime soon. Soz.
