Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has replaced Kym Marsh on Morning Live after she tested positive for COVID-19.
The former Coronation Street actress was due to present Monday's episode (July 12) of the BBC daytime series alongside Gethin Jones.
However, Gethin was instead joined by former Strictly dancer and new It Takes Two host Janette, who he revealed would be filling in for Kym after she fell ill with coronavirus alongside the rest of her household.
Kym still appeared via video link to talk to Janette and Gethin, revealing her "whole household went down like dominoes" after she also missed episodes of the show last week when she had to self-isolate following her son's positive coronavirus test.
"We took all the advice, he went and isolated in his room, we didn't have contact with him – apart from I was taking him his food and drink... – we wore masks, hand-washing, and we still all managed to get it. So it's amazing how transmittable it still is," she said.
Kim added that she was "still feeling rubbish" following her diagnosis but was "doing alright" and felt she'd been "fairly lucky" with her symptoms.
