Jamie Oliver’s youngest son makes a rare video appearance
Jamie Oliver’s new Channel 4 TV series Together was a roaring success, with millions of people tuning in each week as he cooked a different recipe from his newest cookbook.
To celebrate the success of the series, Jamie took to Instagram to share a video with his 8.7million followers of some of his favourite clips and recipes.
The chef captioned the picture: “JamiesTogether isn't on your screens tonight but you can find all of the recipes from the series on my website! Here's a round-up of some of your favourites and mine. Jam jar prawn cocktails, Fragrant squash curry, Minted mango fro-yo, Slow-roasted lamb, My summer pudding.”
His fans loved the clip, with over 23k liking and commenting on the delicious recipes and food. But it was the appearance of one of Jamie's five children, his youngest son River, who drew the most comments.
In the video, sweet five-year-old River can be seen speaking to Jamie through their kitchen window, before hauling himself up through the window. Jamie says: “Have you thought about using the door?”
Jamie then tells River he is making prawn cocktail salads for their guests, to which River hilariously replies: “I don’t want it, I’m not going to have it!” We’re pretty sure if Jamie was cooking for us we’d want to eat it!
