Jamie Lynn Spears has spoken out about the rumours that she's on her sister Britney's payroll, claiming that she's broke and is the only member of her family not being paid by the star.

Rumours surrounding Jamie Lynn being paid by her sister Britney have been around for sometime, but have recently re-emerged following Britney's recent testimony in which she asked a judge to end her 13-year-long conservatorship.

Following a New Yorker exposé in which it was alleged that some members of Britney's family have received money from the singer, Jamie Lynn took to Instagram Stories to clear up the rumours. She screenshotted a headline from a UK news outlet which stated that Jamie Lynn is "the ONLY family member not on the singer's payroll."

Jamie Lynn posted the screenshot to her Instagram Story along with the caption, "Facts.....now leave my broke ass alone."

This comes just days after Jamie Lynn spoke out about her sister's request to end her conservatorship after questioning from fans as to why she had been so quiet on the issue. In response Jamie Lynn posted a series of Instagram Stories clarifying that she supports her sister completely, but chooses to stay out of the spotlight.

Jamie Lynn ended her statement saying, "Maybe I didn’t support her the way the public would like me to, with a hashtag on a public platform, but I can assure you that I’ve supported my sister long before there was a hashtag, and I’ll support her long after."
