Jamie Lee Curtis Celebrated Pamela Anderson Going Makeup-Free at Paris Fashion Week
The Oscar winner called it the start of a "natural beauty revolution."
Pamela Anderson is making a statement at Paris Fashion Week — and Jamie Lee Curtis is taking notice. Curtis commended Anderson for going makeup-free to several high-profile events in the City of Lights, calling the move to step away from her signature glam a "beauty revolution." Not only has Anderson made several appearances at Paris's Fashion Week events (she sat front row at Victoria Beckham's show, Isabel Marant's, and Vivienne Westwood's), but she was a fixture of New York Fashion Week's presentations earlier during fashion month.
Curtis pointed out that these events are often regarded as some of the most glamorous in the world and that Anderson's choice to go against "pressures and postures" was a bold statement worthy of celebration.
"THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!" Curtis wrote in an Instagram post yesterday. "@pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures, and this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face. I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion."

Anderson has opened up about her new approach to beauty, telling Elle last month that her current makeup look is "freeing, and fun, and a little rebellious, too."
"I did notice that there were all these people doing big makeup looks," she said. "And it's just like me to go against the grain and do the opposite."
And while she hadn't yet gotten the stamp of approval from Oscar-winning Curtis, Anderson explained that she'd already felt great about the choice to ditch bold makeup looks, like her signature smoky eye and penciled-in brows.
"I feel rooted for," she finished. "I feel good. I'm in a good place."
