James Norton has become somewhat of a staple cast member of gripping dramas, with key roles in iconic shows such as Grantchester, Happy Valley and, most recently, Playing Nice.

The ITV mini-series follows two couples who find out that their toddlers were accidentally switched at birth. Now informed of the hospital mix up, the parents face the horrifying and impossible dilemma of whether to keep the child they've been raising, or reclaim their biological child.

Understandably, viewers were gripped by the drama and invested in the main characters played by James Norton (Pete) and Niamh Halgar (Maddie), and other parents James McArdle (Miles) and Jessica Brown Findlay (Lucy).

But, while on-screen the atmosphere was tense, behind the scenes the four actors appeared to be much more relaxed, and clearly bonded during filming if the latest photos are anything to go by. Taking to instagram, James Norton shared a selection of black and white snaps of the cast in fancy dress.

Channelling the band ABBA, the gang dressed up in white suits, flares and sunglasses. In one photograph, Niamh can be seen styling James Norton's hairs with a pair of straighteners to perfect his 1970s look, while in another James McArdle lies across a pool table, posing in a fur-lined hood.

In the second to last image in the selection, the four actors all wear matching heart shaped sunglasses, before the final shot reveals a strikingly similar black and white image of the real band.
