The interest around James Matthews has been growing ever since he proposed to Pippa Middleton, sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, in 2016. Now the couple have tied the knot, but just who is Mr Matthews? Here's everything you need to know about Pippa's husband.

Who is James Matthews?
Chelsea-based multimillionaire Mr Matthews is a hedge fund manager. At 41, he's eight years older than Miss Middleton.
The couple got in engaged in the Lake District in July last year after dating for just a year, although they've been friends for more than 10 years.
Background
Educated at Uppingham School in Rutland, where he was a boarder, Mr Matthews eschewed university choosing to pursue a career as a racing driver competing up to Formula 3 level.
He won the British Formula Renault Championship in 1994 for Manor Motorsport, and later that year picked up the Eurocup Formula Renault title.
He started his career in finance in 1995 as a derivatives trader at Spear, Leeds & Kellogg, which is now part of Goldman Sachs, before co-founding Eden Rock Capital Management in 2001.
His childhood was spent jetting between Lincolnshire and the Caribbean island of St Barths where his parents moved to after buying the luxury Eden Rock hotel.

Mr Matthews is still the chief executive of Eden Rock Capital Management Group, based in Mayfair, central London, which has made him an independent multimillionaire. He named it after his parents' hotel.
He lives with Miss Middleton in his six-bedroom £17 million home in Chelsea, which he bought in 2014.
Hobbies
Like his future wife, Mr Matthews loves the outdoors and is very sporty.
He's an ultra-marathon runner in his spare time and in 2008 completed the 156 mile Marathon des Sables. He's also a keen skier and the couple completed the 54km Birkebeiner ski race in Norway together last year.
The couple are also into tennis. Miss Middleton is a regular at Wimbledon and was pictured with Mr Matthews at the championship last year, just days before they became engaged.
Who are his family?
Mr Matthews' parents are David and Jane Matthews.
Twice-married David Matthews, 73, started his working life at his father's garage business in Yorkshire, before becoming a door-to-door salesman and then a racing driver where he met his first wife Anita Taylor whom he married in 1966. The pair had a daughter, Nina, but divorced three years later.
Mr Matthews made millions through the sale of his car dealership business and went on to marry Zimbabwean-born artist Jane Spencer Parker. The couple set up home in Lincolnshire after buying Caunton Manor, an 18th-century mansion where they started their own family.
Then, in pursuit of a more adventurous life and a bit more sunshine, the couple bought Eden Rock in 1995 after Mr Matthews spotted it from a yacht in 1994. It's now regularly voted among the top 100 hotels in the world and a favoured bolt-hole of the rich and famous.
Mr Matthews' brother is reality television star Spencer Matthews. The ex-Etonian and notorious London socialite, 27, shot to fame on the reality show Made in Chelsea.
He also once claimed to have slept with more than 1,000 women and hit the headlines in 2015 after quitting I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, blaming an addiction to steroids.
As well as sister Nina and brother Spencer, Mr Matthews had a younger brother, Michael, who died climbing Mount Everest in May 1999 aged just 22. He had become the youngest Briton to ever manage to summit the peak, only to disappear after becoming separated from his guides on Everest while descending. His body was never found.
Hasn't he dated Pippa before?
Yes. The pair dated briefly in 2012, before going their separate ways after a few months.
They remained close friends through her three-year relationship with the stockbroker Nico Jackson, and when that ended, in 2015, Mr Matthews came back on the scene.
