Jake Paul confirms fight against Tommy Fury

Social media star Jake Paul has confirmed a fight against Tommy Fury, which is set to take place in December. Tommy, who is a boxer, former Lover Island star, and brother of Tyson Fury has been issued a warning from Jake, who said "It's time to kiss your last name and your family's boxing legacy goodbye."

Tommy and Jake have been involved in a long-running social media feud, and it now looks like it has all come to a head.

Taking to Twitter to announce the event, Jake wrote, "Pucker up Timmy, it’s time to kiss ur last name and ur family’s boxing legacy goodbye. DEC 18th Im changing this w*nkers name to Tommy Fumbles and celebrating with Tom Brady. Tickets on sale November 10th! #PaulFury One Will Fall."

While Tommy took to Twitter to announce the event and said, "Time to do what should’ve been done to you a long time ago….You’re getting knocked spark out. @jakepaul."

YouTuber Jake has recently launched a professional boxing career, and currently has an unbeaten record of four victories. His last victory came after a split decision over Tyron Woodley earlier on in the year. Tommy is also undefeated, so this fight will be a surefire decider.

In the past the pair have clashed at a press conference, with Jake saying: "When I'm confident in my skill, I'm already thinking about the next opponent.

"Why do you think this guy is sitting behind me right now?"

Tommy chimed in and said, "Your time is coming pal. Don't mention my name out of that garbage mouth of yours."

To which Jake replied, "When you know what's going to happen, it's easy. This is an easy sport."

This fight is hotly-anticipated by fans of the sport, with many taking so social media to discuss, debate and support their chosen boxer.

In support of Jake, one fan said, "The future of boxing is Jake Paul. Jake has the speed of Tyson and the power of Lennox Lewis and I think he deserves a Championship fight. I genuinely don’t see anyone beating him in the foreseeable future and it really is a tribute to his hard work and dedication. Tommy is done."

While in support of Tommy, another said, "This is Jake Paul's most interesting fight imo, finally fighting an actual boxer. Don't get me wrong Tyron Woodley knocked jake down and it was a good fight but i reckon Tommy edges this."

The Paul V Fury fight is set to take place in Tampa on December 18, with tickets going on sale on November 10.
