Jake Gyllenhaal has fond memories of filming the upcoming Road House remake.

On Wednesday, the Brokeback Mountain actor, 43, shared some snaps from the set on Instagram, once again showing off the results of the intense physical transformation he underwent for the movie.

"I have always admired both the original style and variety of his work. Whether it’s action, comedy or drama, it’s hard to take your eyes off a Doug Liman film," Gyllenhaal continued.

"I’m deeply grateful for what I learned from him on Road House. He is a generous director, great friend and human being. A few of my favorite moments with DL in the DR…" he concluded in the caption.

Gyllenhaal has been sharing multiple memories from his time on set, including posting a snapshot of him taking an ice bath in what appeared to be a large garbage bin.

Road House, which Prime Video describes as a "high-octane, adrenaline-filled reimagining" of the 1989 Patrick Swayze movie, is set to be released on March 21.

The film stars Gyllenhaal as a former UFC fighter named Dalton, who takes a job as a bar bouncer at a roadhouse in the Florida Keys after his professional fighting days end.

Dalton begins intimidating some of the bar's rowdy clients before he and its owner (Jessica Williams) are threatened by a group of men who want to take the property for themselves.

Ahead of the film's release, Gyllenhaal made sure to thank original star Swayze, who died on Sept. 14, 2009 at age 57 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Gyllenhaal shared a throwback photo of the pair on Sunday, writing in the caption, "I’ve been thinking back about my time working with Patrick on Donnie Darko, and rewatching this great man in the original Road House plus so many other films. I’ve never stopped being a fan.

"He was such a talent and I continue to have so much respect and admiration for what he put out and into the world. I’ll never forget his kindness to me when I was starting out— he didn’t have to take the time, but he always did. We’ve made a different RH this time around, but hoping it’s one he would’ve had fun watching!"
