Jade Thirlwall says Little Mix bandmates encouraged her to make a move on Prince Harry
We love a random celebrity crossover, and Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall is no stranger to them. We've previously seen her have an awkward run-in with Oasis singer Noel Gallagher, and now Jade has shared details on a *very* interesting interaction between her and Prince Harry.
Discussing what happened when she met the Duke of Sussex back in 2015, Jade revealed that her Little Mix bandmates had actually encouraged her to make a move on the Prince.
Jade and fellow Little Mix singers Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and (then) Jesy Nelson had made an appearance at the Royal Variety Performance back in 2015, which is where they chatted with Prince Harry.
Describing the interaction during Part 2 of Little Mix's At Home Documentary on YouTube, Jade said that Harry was "wonderful" before explaining how her bandmates encouraged her to pursue him.
She revealed, "I remember at the time I think I was the only single one and the girls were like 'go on Jade, go on' - trying to push us onto Prince Harry. Needless to say, he wasn't interested."
Holding up a photo where she's shaking hands with the Duke of Sussex, Jade added, "Oh, I'm actually shaking his hand there. Maybe I was trying to give him some eye contact, do you know what I mean?"
"But, yeah, he wasn't that arsed," she continued, before laughing, "I'm just remembering now the girls being like, 'go on Jade, Prince Harry, you never know'."
She finished the clip by joking that the girls felt like "four Cinderellas, off to find our Prince Harry - and I never got him."
It's thought that Prince Harry was first introduced to now-wife Meghan Markle in July 2016, meaning he may have potentially been single in November 2015 when he met Little Mix at the Royal Variety Performance. Meanwhile, Jade is currently dating Jordan Stephens from band Rizzle Kicks.
Still, it could have all worked out differently, eh Jade?
