All of the Jada Pinkett Smith and Will drama explained
In the most talked-about Red Table Talk since that Jordyn Woods episode, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed to her husband of 23-years that she was in a relationship with another man.
The drama first began last month, when singer August Alsina said in an interview on show The Breakfast Club that Will Smith gave his "blessing" for him to date his wife, indicating that they have an open marriage. "I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her," he explained.
Social media went into overdrive at the time, and Jada's rep initially denied the claims.
However, on Friday the couple, who have been married since 1997 and have two children together, appeared on Jada's Facebook show, Red Table Talk, to clear the air.
"We decided that we were going to separate for a period of time and you go figure out how to make yourself happy and I'll figure out how to make myself happy," Will admitted on the show.
Jada then added: "From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August."
Will pushed on, saying: "an entanglement? A relationship," to which Jada responded: "I was in a lot of pain and I was very broken."

According to Jada, the relationship happened about four-and-a-half years ago. Addressing August's references to Jada and Will's apparently "open relationship", she said: "The only person that can give permission in that particular circumstance is myself.
"I could actually see how he would perceive it as permission because we were separated amicably and I think he also wanted to make it clear that he's also not a home-wrecker. Which he's not."
However, she also said she's in a better place now - despite no longer being in contact with August. "Through that particular journey, I learned so much about myself and was able to really confront a lot of emotional immaturity, emotional insecurity and I was really able to do some really deep healing," Jada explained. "And as I came through and started to realise certain things about you and I, he decided to break all communication with me which was totally understandable."

And, it seems all is now well between the couple. Speaking about their future, Will told Jada: "I'm gonna get you back first."
Jada laughed and responded: "I think you got me back! I think we're good on that."
They then finished by referencing Will's Bad Boys movies, fist-bumping and saying: "We ride together, we die together. Bad marriage for life."
