Jacob Elordi and Kaia Gerber stopped dating a month ago, after a romance that lasted for a little over a year.

And while they're no longer a couple, Australian actor Elordi hasn't let their break-up stop him from gushing about the 20-year-old fashion model.

He recently told Men's Health magazine what he thinks of Gerber, saying: 'She handles herself wonderfully publicly.'

Speaking of his admiration for Gerber's approach to media attention, The Kissing Booth star Elordi added: 'And I’ve learned so much from her about how to handle it, how to deal with it and just kind of be whatever about it, you know?'

Meanwhile, Gerber is rumoured to be dating 30-year-old actor Austin Butler, who was previously in a relationship with High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens and was also linked to actor and model Lily-Rose Depp.

Gerber and Butler were recently spotted together, after the Celine campaign star's break-up from Elordi.

When they were seen together, the rumoured couple had reportedly taken a morning yoga class, per the Daily Mail.

As for Elordi, his relationship status has also been heavily scrutinised in the press.

He has been pictured with three of his ex-girlfriends, including Zendaya and Joey King (his co-stars in Euphoria and The Kissing Booth, respectively) at the same outdoor market, but on separate occasions.

And as well as speaking lovingly of Gerber, Elordi has doted on Zendaya too.

During an interview with Vanity Fair last year, he said of the Emmy award-winner: 'She’s a power unto herself and so talented, such a sweetheart.'

Elordi hasn't shied away from opening up about other personal issues, too.

In a recent interview with Men's Health, he addressed the objectification of men, highlighting that it's not often discussed.

Speaking of being objectified himself, Elordi conveyes his sense of frustration.

'You’ll go to a shoot and you’ll be getting changed or something, and someone’s like, "Oooaaah, would you look?" Can you imagine if I said to a woman, "Daaaaamn, look at your waist!"? Like, see you later. I would never do that, but I think people see it on their screens, so they think it’s okay.'

He later added: 'It’s a slippery slope to put all your value into the vanity of what your body looks like. Your body is going to deteriorate.'

And the actor, who's known for being tall said his height is exaggerated due to those who cast him in roles: 'The trick is they just always cast me with girls who are five-foot-two. Everyone’s like, "You’re so big!"'
