J.Lo has called it – mullet dresses are back, and honestly, we're kind of obsessed. Jennifer Lopez dropped the music video for her new single 'On My Way' from the upcoming romantic comedy, Marry Me, that she is set to star in. Wearing an array of dreamy ensembles in the video, in one of the shots she can be seen wearing a dreamy mullet dress (yep, the dress style we all have a love/hate relationship with, just like the infamous hairstyle), and we love it all over again.

Taking to Instagram to announce the music video, the singer and actress posted a clip of it and wrote: "#OnMyWay official video is OUT NOW!!! I’m so happy you’re all loving the song and I hope you love the video as much as I do."

Wearing two different chic looks while singing the romantic track, J.Lo could be seen donning a sparkly ensemble that comprised of a black sparkly Balmain suit, with a black Versace bodysuit. As the singer danced around in various lavish locations, she could then be seen in the infamous mullet-style gown.

The mullet gown that J.Lo can be seen wearing in the music video is by Iris van Herpen, and is a stunning textured cream number. With a very chic off-the-shoulder accent, a deep V-neck, and a tulle train – the high-low gown looked modern, chic and like something we would definitely wear in 2021 – 11 years after they were last at the height of fashion.

In 2010, asymmetrical hemlines were all the rage. Dresses and skirts that have a high-low hemline just like J.Lo's – and we couldn't stop wearing them. Don't judge us for it, because they're officially back – as declared by J.Lo – which means you'll probably be wearing them sooner than you think.

Jennifer Lopez also stars in the movie that she sings on the soundtrack for, and is currently gearing up for its release around Valentine's Day next year. J.Lo will star in the new rom-com, Marry Me, as the lead character, a pop superstar who gets jilted by her rock-star fiancé moments before their wedding at Madison Square Garden. Instead of feeling sorry for herself, she decided to marry a random man in the crowd.

Don't mind us just pulling out our favourite mullet dress from 2010 – and yes, we will be wearing it to the cinema in February to watch Marry Me.
