Ivanka Trump has a multimillion-dollar net worth but the mom of three is budget-conscious when it comes to baby products.

While on a recent family vacation in Aspen, Trump carried 1-year-old Theodore in a $160 Ergobaby Four Position 360 Baby Carrier in black and camel, which is designed to hold infants in four different positions: front-in, front-out, hip, and back carry. Celebrities Orlando Bloom, Kristen Bell, and Gwen Stefani are all fans of the Ergobaby brand, and while Trump’s carrier isn’t exactly cheap, it’s comparable to competitors, which retail for $50 to $300.

The carrier, meant to hold babies up to 33 pounds, boasts 4.5 stars on Amazon and is described as a “true winner,” “breathable,” and “ergonomically correct.”

Trump clearly loves the Ergobaby sling. In 2016, she posted an Instagram shot of Theodore in a navy-blue model.

But she doesn’t play favorites. After giving birth to daughter Arabella in 2011, she carried the infant in a $189 black Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier One.

The benefits of carrying a baby in this way are well-documented — according to a study published in the journal Pediatrics, carrying an infant for three hours a day reduces crying by 43 percent overall and 54 percent in the evening. Physical contact between a parent and infant also helps soothe babies by regulating their breathing patterns and heartbeat, and more face-to-face contact helps infants recognize facial cues more easily. Plus, having two free hands is just plain practical, and carriers allow other caregivers to better bond with the baby too.

Trump’s merchandise line, which includes diaper bags, has been pulled from a number of retailers because it landed on the #GrabYourWallet boycott list. Perhaps Trump baby carriers can wait.
