Ivanka Trump loves celebrating her kids on social media and shares everything from birthdays and first steps to language lessons and random dance parties. But it’s not just the profound moments that merit a post — it’s the silly ones too. On Tuesday morning, the mother-of-three noted that her middle child, 3-year-old Joseph, was layering his trousers because he couldn’t decide which ones to wear.

“Just watched Joseph layering his pants,” the first daughter wrote on Facebook. “When I asked him why he was putting on a second pair, he replied ‘I can’t decide which ones to wear.’ Obviously!”

Within hours, the post received more than 25,000 likes, 200 shares, and 700 comments. She also added the hashtag #toddlerlife, which has inspired others to share similarly hilarious stories about their children.

“Came home from work one day to find one of mine, about 2 years old, charging up and down the hallway in his birthday suit with an empty cereal box jammed down on his head…I just turned around and walked away….” wrote a commenter.

“I walked in on my 2 yr old attempting to wear every piece of clothing in her drawer,” Tam Forsyth wrote. “He was having a fit because she was having a hard time getting the 4th or 5th layer on. They definitely keep us entertained.”

Another commenter shared, “Once my oldest son (now 21) was about 4 years old. He just kept talking and talking. I finally told him, ‘ya know kid, you sure talk a lot.’ He said, ‘I know dad, it’s cuz a got a lot of words in my mouth’ … Now really how do you answer that?”

The hashtag, which was not started by Trump and has been used on the Internet for a while, is definitely one of the most relatable out there.
