It's official: The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is gearing up for its Paris debut

For the past few months, the internet’s been rife with gossip that the 2016 edition of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will be filmed in Paris. And today, the brand put a stop to the rumour mill and confirmed a jaunt to the French capital.

The brand set itself a tough goal of upping its wow-factor 2015 show, which boasted Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid in its model line-up for the first time and featured performances from The Weekend, Ellie Goulding and Selena Gomez.

But moving the event to Paris could add a certain je ne sais quoi to the proceedings.

While this year’s performers are yet to be announced, the lingerie runway show will include pink carpet interviews, behind-the-scenes footage and numerous model appearances. Longstanding Victoria’ Secret models Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill will all walk in the show, as well as ‘new faces’ that we hazard a guess could include Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin. Having walked for multiple high-end designers, the pair of up-and-comers could well be on the Victoria’s Secret radar.
