From Esquire

For over a decade, Isreali-English chef, writer and restaurateur Yotam Ottolenghi's bestselling cookbooks have been conquering kitchens across the UK. With a focus on Middle Eastern cuisine, inventive recipes and under-appreciated vegetables, foodie bibles like 'Jerusalem' and 'SIMPLE' have fundamentally changed the way we cook, eat and experience our meals. This year, they've proved more crucial than ever.

As part of the line-up for Esquire Townhouse @ Your House in partnership with Breitling, the hugely influential chef will be discussing the role food has played in keeping us sane over the course of lockdown. He'll also be discussing how his own cooking has developed, all in the run-up to his much-anticipated vegetable-based recipe book, FLAVOUR. He'll be taking part in a video interview, which you can catch on this very website. Get the full details by signing up to theEsquire Townhouse email updates here.

Of course, before the cookbooks came the cult delicatessen. Yotam opened up his first location, Notting Hill's Ottolenghi, in 2002 with Palestinian chef Sami Tamimi. Three more eponymous delis followed (in Spitalfields, Belgravia and Islington) alongside two acclaimed restaurants (Soho's NOPI and Fitzrovia's ROVI). That's not to mention his much-loved Guardian column and TV specials.

Stay tuned for full details of when and where you can watch along. The full schedule – and final names – will be announced over the coming days.
