The internet defends Meghan Markle after wardrobe malfunction – 'I feel for her'
Meghan Markle made a rare fashion faux pas today while in Tonga as part of her royal tour with Prince Harry – but social media users proved they had her back.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Fua’amato airport, Tonga today for the tenth day of their royal tour, which also includes Australia, Tonga and New Zealand.
As per usual, the Duchess, who is currently pregnant with her first child, looked stylish in a Self Portrait dress, opting for a shade which matched the red Tongan flag.
But she accidentally left the label on her dress, which was pictured dangling down near her ankles. Thankfully, the internet had her back.
Users widely praised the ‘hard-working’ Duchess, while others deemed the mistake totally relatable.
What’s more, some commented Meghan’s staff should have been more vigilant – which is a fair comment, although we all make mistakes sometimes.
Not in the low cut or high slit way but in some photos her bra and tummy are quite visible. However I feel for her as it seems her staff might be letting her down, such as with the dress tag earlier today. Meghan herself is giving her all and working very hard.

I actually left my tag on my clothes only yesterday… it’s a normal thing to do. Meghan also has a PA who should be checking these things, it’s easy to miss especially as it’s the same colour. Due to her bump, it’s also likely that the dress was on order.

Call the royal guard. Meghan showed a tag on her dress. Holy cow! How the nit pickers love it. How little it matters at all. Not news.

Frankly, we’ve all been there – and no doubt the pressure of multiple outfit changes makes this kind of mistake even easier.
