The Internet can't get enough of Ivanka Trump's latest magazine cover
Ivanka Trump, the First Daughter of the United States, has landed the prime spot on the cover of Us Weekly‘s latest issue.
The cover story – titled ‘Ivanka Takes a Stand: Why I Disagree with My Dad’ – describes how Ivanka “will always fight for what she believes in” but has to balance “her personal ideals with love and loyalty to her father.”
Ivanka has become a prominent advisor to the President, taking on many of the First Lady duties until Melania Trump makes a permanent move to Washington in the summer.
An inside source has revealed that Ivanka is the person Donald Trump listens to the most.
The cover story explains how Ivanka has disagreed with many of her father’s decisions and opinions including those on LGBTQ rights and the North American Free Trade Agreement.
According to the source, she is an avid supporter of solving the climate change problem and “openly tried to sway” her father into remaining as part of the Paris Agreement.
Unfortunately, Trump wasn’t easily convinced as he recently decided to leave the agreement which is part of the global campaign against climate change.
“Sometimes, she and [her husband] Jared are a big influence on Donald and sometimes he takes other opinions into account and does something they disagree with,” the source told Us Weekly. “They win some and they lose some.”
The Internet has of course gone crazy with several people taking to Twitter to post pictures of famous characters who have had to deal with unsavoury father figures.
