The new Instagram pose you're about to see flooding your timelines
Instagram is great when it comes to spotting a trend. First came slip skirts of every variation, followed by that black and white spotty Zara number and Topshop's maxi dress of the summer. But what about when it comes to posing trends?
A new pose, spotted by Pretty52, is sweeping the social media app and being adopted by fashion influencers and celebrities alike, who are using it to show off their outfits. Please welcome to the stage: the 'Flamingo'.
The pose essentially involves standing at a slight angle to the camera on one leg, with the other leg bent and folded, tucking your foot behind your thigh. Posers are usually leaning against or by a wall, wearing something excellent. See exhibits A - E:
